BINA MASENO – Executive Director

Bina Maseno is an experienced gender, governance, and development specialist skilled in gender inclusivity and mainstreaming in political and governance processes, program management, young women, and grassroots women’s leadership, and advocating for an end to all forms of gender-based violence. She’s the Founder and Executive Director at Badili Africa. Bina Maseno vied for the Member of County Assembly office during the 2013 general elections as a 22-year-old young woman, and her experiences and challenges led to the founding of Badili Africa. Bina continues to use her voice to encourage and champion women’s participation in politics, leadership, and governance, as well as actively participating in the broader discourse of governance as active citizens.

Joseph Ndeta – Finance and Administration Officer

Joseph Ndeta is a highly experienced financial and accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with regulatory standards such as IFRS and Kenyan financial protocols. In his role as Treasury Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets (Carrefour), he excelled in cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and treasury management for a monthly turnover of USD 23 million, while building strong relationships with financial institutions.

His previous roles include Senior Accountant at Zana Africa Group Limited, where he managed invoicing, reconciliations, and statutory submissions, and Chief Accountant at Midland Energy Ltd, overseeing financial reporting and budgeting. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from KCA University and has completed CPA Part Two. He is proficient in ERP systems like Sage Accpac, SAP, and QuickBooks, bringing both academic and practical expertise to diverse financial environments.

Victoria Wamwere – Project Officer

Victoria Wamwere is a skilled social innovator whose work has supported multiple humanitarian projects enriching thousands of livelihoods in East Africa, working to strengthen the capacity of children, women, and youth as peace and change agents in Kenya. Victoria has 3 years of senior management experience and vast experience as a mentor, facilitator, and coach. As an experienced lead administrator, she is skilled in non-profit organizations, management, and program development. She is a strong consulting professional and graduated from Humanitarian Academy

Hellen Njoki Kamau – Project Officer

Hellen Njoki Kamau is passionate about research and policy development, SGBV prevention mitigation, and response. She is also a Gender advocate and SGBV legal frameworks facilitator.

Tevin Kote – Communication Officer

Tevin Kote is a seasoned professional in the dynamic realm of communication. He brings a wealth of expertise and a creative flair to every project he is involved in. He is a versatile individual proficient in a multitude of disciplines, including graphic design, photography, and video editing. His flexibility and adaptability allow him to seamlessly transition between various communication strategies, ensuring the target audience is reached and engaged.
