The BET is a “push back” edutainment project that employs storytelling as a form of resistance, using empathy and authentic representation to dismantle gender inequality and confront the systemic exclusion of women from leadership spaces and decision-making processes.
With a presence in four urban areas of Nairobi, the program explores various themes, including leadership and governance, sexual and reproductive health rights, and the inclusion of young women in decision-making processes.
We trained young women and men as grassroots educators, building a sustainable network of change agents committed to advancing gender justice within their communities and spheres of influence.
