Policy Review to Tackle Sexual Harassment

Badili Africa, having documented the extent of sexual and gender-based violence young women face in university student politics. Previous capacity-building sessions with young female student leaders from various universities revealed gaps in sexual harassment policies, stigma associated with reporting, and limited mentorship opportunities. Building on this, the project aims to review sexual harassment policies for select universities to have comprehensive support for survivors and put perpetrators to account. While to empowering young women to take action against sexual harassment, participate in the policy review process, and promote a safe and respectful university environment.
