Badili Africa leverages the power of digital media influencers for influencing governance processes and promoting civic participation. We aim to tap into the growing influence of digital media in shaping public discourse, particularly among the young people. Our core initiatives is capacity building for digital influencers and content creators. We provide them with skills and knowledge on civic responsibility, enabling them to raise awareness about critical social issues, promote dialogue, and encourage action among their followers.
We seek to nurture civic education champions who can promote political tolerance and social cohesion, particularly on digital platforms where misinformation and disinformation are prevalent. By equipping influencers with the necessary tools and knowledge, we aim to counter the spread of harmful narratives and foster a more informed and engaged citizenry.
By empowering digital influencers and content creators, we seek to amplify the voices of young people, particularly young women, and encourage their active participation in governance processes and transformation initiatives.
